Valentine Altered Paint Can

Supply List:
Patterned Paper-Doodlebug; Cardstock-Colormates; Ribbon-Darice; Lace-Darice; Die Cut Hearts-Quickutz; Die Cut Letters-Accucut; Pony Beads-Darice; Heart Charm-Darice; Ink- Ranger Distress Ink (Worn Lipstick and Fired Brick); Adhesive-Xyron; Paint Can-Behr; Other tools used-Coluzzle nested circles template and nested tags
Front of Can:

Handle and Lid:
I removed one side of the handle from the can and strung pony beads in alternating colors of red, clear and clear with rainbow glitter. I just wanted a different look than the traditional ribbon tied handle.

Back of Can with quote: Quote says, "True love doesn't consist of holding hands, it consists of holding hearts". I found it in my book of quotes from many moons ago. Unfortunately, I have "unknown" written for the author.

Close up of Lace Trim and Heart Charm: I wove a pink satin ribbon into the red lace trim for a nice contrast of color. The silver heart charm says "handmade with love".

These gallon sized paint cans can fit a TON of stuff in them! T-shirts, boxer shorts, candy, video games, music CD's, SCRAPBOOKING supplies......like I said...a TON of stuff! Super fun and easy to make!
