Letter M: M is for Misty
This challenge was to use colored mist (Tattered Angels; Maya Road; etc.) on chipboard for a Thank You themed card. My Glimmer Mist was used on the chipboard bird and circle.
Products used:
Card: Michael's
Cardstock: unknown (using up scraps)
Patterned Paper: Arctic Frog
Chipboard Bird: Maya Road
Inks: Distress Ink Spiced Marmalade (Ranger); Versamagic Chalk Ink Ocean Depth and Turquoise (Tsukineko)
Mist: Glimmer Mist Pearl (Tattered Angels)
other supplies: Metallic Cable (Krenik); Needle; Zig Writer
Close up of the glimmer mist: The color is Pearl and it gives such a pretty shimmer without adding a ton of color. Sometimes you just want to make it sparkle right?
Close up of the metallic cable: Had to hand stitch this. The cable is a bit thick, but it surprisingly did not add too much bulk to the back of the paper. Therefore, it was able to lie nearly flat.
Letter N: Nautical
This challenge requires a Nautical theme. You must use journaling strips for the sentiment.
Products used:
Card: Darice
Cardstock: unknown (using up scraps)
Patterned Paper: Creative Imaginations; Sandylion
Pearl: Basic GreyInks: Versamagic Chalk Ink Aquatic (Tsukineko)
other supplies: Souffle Pen; Pop Dots
Hoping to get 4 cards done today. Fingers crossed....
