SSC Paper Scraps Challenge...

I am designing for another new group over at Simply Scrapping & Crafts, the Paper Scraps Challenge Group. This group is lead by one of my very favorite people in the world, Amy. She is such an awesome, talented and highly creative person. I am so excited to be a part of this group! Seriously think about this....who doesn't have scraps of paper that they have been hoarding...err, ahem...I mean saving....yes, saving because we just do not want to waste a piece of our coveted paper? Let's start putting them to use my friends!!!! That is what this group is geared to do...motivate you to use those scraps!!!!

Here is the challenge:
Use your paper scraps to make a paper pieced animal to use on a card or layout.

My sample:

I cut up some of my scraps to make paper strips to quill with. Even the moon is made from scraps :)

Supplies Used:

Cardstock: Unknown...using up scrap remember?

Ribbon: Michael's

Inks: Distress Inks Antique Linen and Old Paper (Ranger) applied with a Foam Ink Blending Tool

Other: Zig Marker; Texture Embossing Plate (Fiskars)

The inside opens to see the full moon and the owl sitting on the branch. It reads "Owl always love you".
