TGF 2 Year Anniversary Blog Hop :)

This is my very first blog hop :) I have hopped around others, but I have never actually been a part of one. The Greeting Farm is so kind as to let there customers be a part of their special celebration. I am so excited to be a part of all the fun!!! Patterned Paper: Basic Grey

Stamps: All by The Greeting Farm - Paul (Roll Call Kit); Stars and Pattern Strips (Spotlight Kit)

Inks: Memento Tuxedo Black (Tsukineko); Distress Inks Mustard Seed, Weathered Wood and Broken China (Ranger)

Chipboard: Star (Heidi Swapp); Grungeboard Letters (Tim Holtz)

Die Cuts: Star Nestabilities (Spellbinders)

Other: Copic Markers (E29, E25, E31 for hair; E000, E00, E01, R20 for skin and cheeks; Y11, Y13, Y15, B12, B14, B16 for shirt and track suit); Pop Dots; Foam Blending Tool (Ranger); Edge Distressing Tool (Tonic); Sanding Tool (Tim Holtz)

How I added a pattern to my grungeboard letters:

Step 1 ink your stamp:

Step 2 was a little tricky since I was using a narrow patterned stamp (from the TGF Spotlight Kit). I had to ink 1 side at a time.

Final product: A raw grungeboard letter with an awesome even pattern :)

Card Background:

The background of the card was made by weaving 3/4" strips of paper together. Here is a close up pic:

I used 5 strips vertically and horizontally. I wove the vertical strips in and out of the horizontal ones.

You can tighten and straighten the strips as you go along. I added adhesive here and there to help secure.
