TGF Holiday Blog Hop...

I am so excited to be a part of all of this holiday fun!!! I almost thought I was not going to make it...I got the 'blue screen of death' on my laptop a little while ago :( Thankfully, I have it up and running again. That will teach me to schedule a post ;)

To start the hop, please visit the TGF Blog as there is only ONE master list of participants. You can easily access the blog here:
http://splendidstamping.blogspot.com/
Here is the card I created for the hop. Please scroll down for some additional info and photos :)

Here are some stamps I used from the TGF "Spotlight" Kit....still one of my ABSOLUTE favorites!!!

I used the arrow stamp to make a pennant banner in my first card by cutting off the bottom portion of the stamp. I again used this same stamp to make the tree in my second card and used one of the cut offs for my stump. I also used one of the stars for the tree topper.

"Joy":

Supplies Used:
Card: Michael's
Patterned Paper: Basic Grey "Green At Heart"
Buttons: Autumn Leaves
Stamp: The Greeting Farm "Spotlight" Kit
Inks: Distress Inks....Broken China, Fired Brick, Worn Lipstick, Peeled Paint, Shabby Shutters (Ranger); Versamagic Dew Drops...Red Magic (Tsukineko)
Ribbon: Darice
Alpha Stickers: Tiny Type (Cosmo Cricket)
Other: Pop Dots; Pinking Shears; Inkessentials Foam Blending Tool (Ranger)

Close Up of one of the banner's pennants:

"Oh Christmas Tree...how I Love Thee":

Supplies Used:
Card: Michael's
Cardstock: Unknown (using up scraps)
Stamps: The Greeting Farm "Spotlight" Kit
Inks: Versamagic Dew Drops...Key Lime, Jumbo Java (Tsukineko)
Rhinestones: Kaisercraft

Close Up of the Tree:

Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by my blog :) I am ready to hop on to yours!!!
I hope that you all have a very happy and blessed holiday season! Hugs!

Pryn

What great ideas on how to use stamps in an "unconventional way". Really thinking outside the box on these and they look amazing! I'm gonna have to borrow your banner idea. Great job!
