So thankful...

I am so thankful for so many things right now in my life.
I am thankful for the incredible vacation that my hubby and I were able to go on at the end of August (our 10 year anniversary was in May so this was our way to celebrate...first vacay for me in 11 years).
I am thankful for my gorgeous, loving husband, who is also my best friend!
I am thankful for the years I was able to spend with my amazing mommy and for all of the cool things she was able to teach me.  Wow, I miss her :(
I am thankful for being here...for surviving meningitis...that I got just a couple of days after that incredible trip (this is why I disappeared on you for a little bit).  Btw, this pic is me turning the corner...I looked worse, which is shocking.  Gotta love that pickle that my friend gave me to cheer me up :)  He's a sheriff, you know ;)
Which leads me to the next thing I am thankful for...no more hospital food...lol ;)  I had no choice but to entertain myself with it.  Dear Cheerios, you saved my life for I could not keep anything else down for a while there.

I am thankful for SO many things and I could go on forever, but I will stop at this one...I am thankful for this wonderful hobby that has brought me so many wonderful and caring friends.  Ladies that I seriously consider family...even though I have never met them in person.  Your cards, thoughts and prayers gave me strength, hope and comfort.  Thank you...each of you (this includes you if you are reading, you know) for being in my life.

If you know me, you know I get a little squishy sometimes, so I will move on before I start getting teary eyed ;)  A card for you...my friends...
 "So Thankful For You...":
SUPPLIES USED:
Card:  Michaels
Patterned Paper:  Basic Grey; Provo Craft

Stamps:  Lawn Fawn

Close up shot...my little pumpkin patch:

Hope you are all having a fabulous week!  Sending out tons of hugs!

Pryn, you are such a sweetheart! I am thankful for you, too! You, the most fab CAS creator evah! And this card proves it--fantastic! Simple, sweet, graphic--love it!
BTW, you were probably in the hospital--unbeknownst to me at the time--when I made a card with the bird stamps you sent to me. So just wanted to give you a link, so you could see the post: http://9hawksandadragonfly.blogspot.com/2012/09/omgosh-so-many-thanks-and-so-much-news.html

Pryn, I am so sorry I had no idea you had gone through this sickness (I wasn't blogging on a regular basis). Thank God you pulled through. You do have a lot to be thankful for, Your gorgeous Hubby and the love you shared with your Mom and there are a lot of people out here who consider themselves lucky to know you even just a little bit and I am one of them. These are so beautiful pictures. Even the one in the hospital bed. You look beautiful there also but I'm sure glad you are out and doing much better now. Give your little pickle a hug for me also and thank him for taking care of you while you were laid up. God bless you and I hope to hear more good things from you soon. Enjoy each day.
