The fear of the unknown...

Oh what a night it is going to be at my house!  A very big football game that I hope will bring a win and with it a huge grin and a warm heart...heaven sent :)  I have been having such a wonderful time watching The Fighting Irish play their hearts out week after week this season.  My mommy would have been so proud.  It was one of the many things that we did together as mother and daughter...watch Notre Dame football.  Whether it be on TV or an actual road trip to campus, we always enjoyed ourselves and created so many amazing memories that I will cherish forever (hence the "heaven sent" comment).  I must wear my heart on my sleeve with pride and support The Irish with a CAS card and a leprechaun on my cheek (no worries...it's a temporary tattoo...lol).  Please excuse the 4 leaf clover...I needed a little extra luck :D

LUCK OF THE IRISH:
SUPPLIES USED:
Card:  Michaels
Cardstock:  Unknown (using up scraps); Bazzill
Ink:  Memento Dew Drop Cottage Ivy (Tsukineko)
Stamps:  Close To My Heart "Holiday Jubilee" set
Alpha Stickers:  Making Memories
Die Cuts:  Quickutz/Lifestyle Crafts
Other:  Gold Leafing Pen (Krylon); Zig Millennium Pen Black .01 (EK Success)

To Change the color of your alphabet stickers with a Krylon leafing pen:
When choosing your alpha stickers, cut them off of their original packaging sheet or color them directly on it. This way, you can be sure that you cover the entire letter without having a mark uncovered where you held it down.
Use your Krylon pen to alter the color of your stickers.  I found the best results when I colored in one direction.  Thew wonderful thing about these pens is it looks streaky, you can either recolor it while wet or wait for it to dry and then add another coat.  How it colors will have to do with the coating on the stickers too.  You can use other permanent pens, but I NEEDED this beautiful metallic gold (it matches the helmets of Notre Dame) to complete the card.
Let your newly altered stickers dry completely before handling...no matter how excited you are to get the perfect color for your needs ;)
Apply to project where desired :)

I hope you are all having a lovely weekend!  The snow made its first on-ground appearance this morning here where I live.  BRRRR!!!!  To stay warm I am going to make a sweatshirt that says, "Keep Calm and Snuggle"...hee hee ;)

Pryn, what an adorable card--love the shamrock & great idea on the letters! And, congratulations, they won again! Undefeated--way cool! I am very pleased--as I am NOT a USC fan--more like an ASU & UofA fan. :^) Anyway, I am happy for you! :^)
Hugs, Penny
