Lucky Star...

It's a One Layer challenge over at The Outlawz in the CAS Group.  I forgot how much of a challenge this can be.  The one layer was tough, but the bubble from my bubble that flew out of my mouth and landed on my finished card (GASP) was tougher.  Thankfully, it did not leave too noticeable of a mark.  Oh, the candy disasters that I have had the last 3 weeks with my design team samples...it beats the ginger ale spill that happened a couple of months ago ;)  Here is my stab at the one layer challenge.  I actually cut a star out with my Silhouette Cameo and used the negative part as a mask.  I then took my Unity Star Background stamp and stamped over the mask.  I didn't like it at first, so I used a .03 fineliner pen to create faux stitching around the masked shape.  It popped it off from the card more which made it less blah looking :)
