Still behind...

I am starting to wonder if I will catch up with the We Scrap ABC Card Crop. They are on Letter R today and I just finished L. My birthday threw my schedule off ;) I originally wanted to complete at the very least 2, possibly 3 cards tonight, but I have to work in the morning :( No late night crafting! I worked enough hours this week and I was supposed to go to the zoo tomorrow with my mom for my birthday (I haven't seen her yet). It is going to be gorgeous and I can't go.....wahhh...ok, pity party is officially over :)

Letter L: This challenge was to use lace of some kind on the card and to give it a vintage feel. The lace was cream colored, but it looked to new for a vintage feel, so I covered it with Vintage Photo Distress Ink by Ranger.

Also used: Tissue Paper for handmade roses

Handmade tissue roses....I must be int he homemade flower mode or something...lol! I inked the "petals" with Vintage Photo, Antique Linen and a bit of Walnut Stain Distress Inks. The tissue is cream so this really helped the rose take shape and added some much needed dimension.
