....

Just sharing a layout and a card from a DT submission. It is over and STRIKE TWO...I didn't make it. I am usually pretty shy...especially about stuff like this, but I gave it another go right away because I was afraid I may never try again and I so wanted to be a part of a design team. Especially after leaving my beloved local scrapbook store :( As of right now, I think I am going to let the DT-Dream die. I don't want that 3rd strike ;) What I will do now is just concentrate on having fun in this hobby that I love so much. It has been 4 years since I haven't had a deadline and I can now have complete creative control over my projects. What on earth will I do?

"From The Heart" layout:

Products used:
Patterned Paper: Basic Grey Sublime Collection
Stickers: Tiny Aplhas Sabrina and Teal Ledger (Making Memories)
Buttons: Foof-A-LaInks: Distress Tattered Rose and Antique Linen (Ranger)
Chipboard Alpha: Lemonade Stand Ledger and She Pink (Heidi Swapp)
Other Supplies: Journaling Ticket (Tim Holtz); Peel 'N Stick Fabric (Delta); Zig Pen

Journaling: I think from the heart, I feel from the heart, I love from the heart...all things that you taught me. I am so thankful for you and proud to be your daughter.

Happy Birthday To You Apple Card:

Products used:
Card: Darice
Border Punch: Fiskars
Twine: Darice
Cardstock: Unknown (using up scraps)
Patterned Paper: DCWV
Stamps: Imaginisce (Apple); CTMH (sentiment)
Ink: Archival Jet Black (Ranger)
Brads: Doodlebug Beetle Black
Other supplies: Tim Holtz Alcohol Inks (Ranger); Tim Holtz Alcohol Ink Refillable Pen (Ranger)

Colored the apple with alcohol inks. Those alcohol ink markers are genius! Coming from Tim Holtz would you expect anything less? If you haven't tried them yet, you definitely should. Fun times...fun times :)

Happy "It's Almost Friday" Thursday :)
