SSC Card Challenge...

I struggled with the challenge this week. It was based on an inspiration photo (seen below). I had all types of ideas...none of them really worked out as hoped though. Sooooo....I got stuck with using the fish card. It's ok, but just not my best. That stupid little fish was a pain. I used a circle punch for the body, but the other elements I free hand cut....including those tiny lips. Tedious...I really wanted to rip the fish's lips off by the time I finished the card...lol! How violent of me! I guess it was a bit too much fussy cutting for one little card huh? Yes...back away from the scissors...slowly....ha ha! Enough of my gibbering...on with the challenge details and DT samples. The girls thankfully held me in there. They made some awesome cards...check 'em out!

It will be so much fun to have you play along! I had 2 other challenge groups post today as well, but rather than have a triple whammy post, I am going to post the Basic Grey challenge tomorrow (this group has such a huge piece of my heart....we need more participants...won't you join us?) and then the Punch or Die Cutter Challenge on Friday. "It's in the Details" will post on Saturday listing supplies for all 3 cards I have made this week. On Saturday, I will post my very first Copic marker try...yikes...I better keep practicing...that is all I can say...lol ;)
HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY TO ALL!!!

You can whine about that card all you want but it is ADORABLE!! And I think your fish was totally worth the tedious effort! I am a hard core hand cut type of girl, so I truly appreciate it! :)
