The Basic Grey stamp is actually one stamp that reminds me of a short peacock feather. So, I stamped it 5 times, watercolored them and cut them out for the "fussy" cut. Not too bad on the hands...although a couple straight days plus work has made them a little knotty. I really want to get caught up, but I may have to give it a rest today. Maybe this evening I can play a little :) Letter G: Glam up the Garden
Products used: Card: unknown Patterned Paper (flowers): cut from Gin-X paper Cardstock: unknown (using up some scraps) Crystals: EK Success; Darice Ribbon: Michael's Also used: Stardust Stickles (Ranger); Zig Pens .05 and .08; pop dots; Tim Holtz Tiny Attacher (Ranger); Tissue Paper
You are supposed to use the bling factor, so the flowers in my bouquet have rhinestone centers and Stickle accents here and there. The tissue paper was crinkled for added texture and pop dots for depth. The straight out of the flower shop look :)
Still have to do letter H and today will be I. Wonder what those creative girls will have lined up for us today? Again, if you haven't started this yet, you must give it a go! We Scrap is a FABULOUS online community and it's FREE to join....don't miss out on all of the fun :)
I'm a crafting ex-barista with a ton of ideas, but no motivation to get them all accomplished. My ipod is never further away than an arms length. I will wave my Terrible Towel whenever possible (Go James). I will always "Shake Down The Thunder" on Saturdays wearing my blue and gold (ND for life). I am a wife to Mike and doggie mommy to my pitbulls, BadaBing and Meadow. I am a Mommy's girl whose heart is filled with the love she gave me. I have to write myself notes to remember my notes. I am still trying to figure out what I want to be when I grow up.
